Coach Zuniga, an alum of South Hills High School, participated in Varsity XC, Swim, and Track. She was part of a championship team, qualifying to CIF Finals and League championship of the San Antonio League, four consecutive years. She received the San Gabriel Valley Tribune 1st team in 2007 & 2008 and San Antonio League MVP in 2008.

She continued her education and athletics at Arizona State University where she ran at the NCAA Division 1 level, participating in their Cross Country and Track program.

 

She has received her Bachelor’s in Justice Studies from Arizona State University and her Master’s in Sport Management from the University of San Francisco.

National Federation of State High School Association Coaching Certificate, USA Track & Field Coaching, LA84 XC & Track coaching, NFHS Concussion, and Team USA SafeSport.
